So happy that Massie lost. The "right wing" influencers that all went to his district in Kentucky are pathetic. Massie is a leftist on crime and immigration. Massie's district (Kentucky's 4th Congressional District) is 86.6% White (Non-Hispanic), 3.4% Black, 4.2% Latino, and 1.1% Asian. It is extremely easy to be a leftist on crime when your district has some of the lowest levels of magic of any district in the South. It is extremely easy to be a leftist on immigration when your district still has 1950s demographics.
They're not spending big money on TV shows any more since we're post monoculture and the big streamers with their investors realise they won't make the next Game of Thrones. The Boys season 5 had its budget cut. Knight of the Seven Kingdoms had a $9m per episode budget as opposed to HOTD getting around $15m. Disney told the Andor guy streaming is dead and that's why they killed that show off because it wasn't profitable.
The Boys was prestige in season 1 and especially 2 with the whole nazi/race themes but after that it becomes way more pulp and stopped getting emmy best series nominations.
The problem with an Iran deal is that I want the war to end, and I don't care about the glory of the U.S. military. However, I recognize that older boomer voters do, and if Trump just gives up whatever it takes to Iran to get a deal and end the war, then it will cost him with older voters, who tend to vote more and who Trump needs this midterm. The Afghanistan pullout hurt Biden so much.
Getting lower gas prices likely won't happen, as at this point gas prices would take like a year to fall even if the fighting stopped, and that is not including the possibility of an Iranian toll, meaning they will be stuck like that forever.
Also just today Trump's approval rate has officially tanked below his previous lowest rate on January 6th

I don't think that's at all true. Boomers care much more about gas prices than the fine details of an Iran peace deal, and even if they don't return to normal, they will stop rising quite so rapidly in the event of peace. Moreover, there is no outcome of the war that will not leave them believing that we won. The pro-Trump boomers will conclude that Trump won the war even if the peace deal involves paying Iran a king's ransom for every tanker allowed through the strait, and the anti-Trump boomers will conclude that Trump personally killed every single brown toddler in the Middle East likewise.
Again gas prices will not go back down. The only thing you can say about gas prices being high is that it is worth it to fight Iran (I don't agree but that doesn't matter) so if you no longer have that and prices are still high you have nothing
If that’s true, then he’s fucked either way, but it looks better if he eliminates the cause of that problem by ending the conflict.

No meaningful section of the voting public agrees with that, and a substantial portion is less likely to vote for you (or more likely to vote against you) if you say it. It’s a losing issue that should be dropped.
