Shabbos's stand for the Druze people revealed his true intentions. If anyone is acting in bad faith - it's him. He states that protecting them was in Israel's national interest, and he is not sure why it is a point of contention. From a self admitted Zionist, of course he has no contention with this. He is not America First, he is Israel First. His loyalty is further confirmed by him admitting he only became "conservative" on October 7, 2023 when he realized his fellow liberals were not on his side. If any one should not be platformed it's duplicitous liberals who register Republican and work to gatekeep a movement they were never a part of in the first place. The hubris of these people will ensure their failure.

Congrats Scott on another win!

Interesting interview. First of all, just in terms of the visuals, it looks like the guy on the right is trying to establish friendly rapport (at least on some level) with the guy on the left, but unexpectedly encountering a cold shoulder. Now in terms of what he says, he's right in certain ways about extremists being counterproductive. Scott Greer himself has written about getting rid of "the flat-earthers" and the "clowns" in this sector. Nick Fuentes can arguably be considered to be in that category based on his statements. Where Kestenbaum falls flat is that his wing doesn't have the white identitarianism (which is now growing for demographic reasons) and has to be acknowledged as a political force. The truth may be somewhere in the middle: White identitarianism needs to be acknowledged by this more establishmentarian wing (something that's difficult for it to do), while at the same time extremists and conspiracy theorists (and Tucker Carlson himself has really gotten into dark conspiracy theories) do detract from the conversation.

Who can guess at the future of the republicans after Trump. He dominates all conversations in America now. (I'm willing to grant him that domination as long as he keeps sending illegals somewhere else. But, I'm not willing to grant or assume such dominance by those who will follow him.)

Not that I expect to be alive when he leaves office. But if through the grace -- or curse -- of God, I am still around in 2028, I look forward to the competition to be the one who follows Trump. Right now, I would guess Vance but who can guess how the bad behavior of the Israelis and of the "Israel no matter what it does" people will have on the 2028 Republican contest. I can't imagine any of the current potential Dem Pres people can defeat whoever wins the Republican nomination no matter what the Israelis or the "No matter" people do.

Allowing Christians to be slaughtered with impunity in Africa jeopardizes Christians everywhere.

Whether we like it or not, we’re in a global world with murderous Islamist extremists, as we have been since the 8th Century.

It's their war, not ours.

We can defend ourselves or die.

I prefer the former, TYVM.
