As a straight ticket Republican voter, if Trump does this amnesty and betrays the base on his core issue, it will absolutely destroy his legacy, his coalition, and the future of the country. I hope he understands this and changes course. If this amnesty goes through, Republicans will lose many of the Sunbelt states that make up the national electoral strength of the GOP. All of the positive gains Republicans have made in Texas in 2022 and 2024 are immediately wiped out. Republicans cannot win the presidency without Texas. When you provide a pathway to citizenship, you provide a pathway to citizenship for the whole extended family as well. The US will become a one party Democratic state. I hope there is someone in the room telling him the long term implications that Reagan failed to see.

"China Grove" is one of only two good Doobie Brothers songs. The other being "Listen to the Music".

Arm day enjoyer — I think you’d be surprised by how many gen z girls don’t have much of a past. In my freshman year college dorm, I would say 2/3 of the girls had no experience with guys at all

Yeah I went to a top school, I think smarter and more affluent women tend to sleep around less (on average)

Yea I'm also Gen Z and was in a similar crowd. College was not as bad as the online world would have you believe.

But obviously once you're out of college...whole different ball game.

perhaps the youtube and IG algorithm just bombards me with too much "female nature/evolution" content

I think it honestly probably does! People make money off of making you think everything is bad. Also there are a lot of older guys who this is probably true for, but gen z is just way less promiscuous

What would attribute this to? The numbers show that Gen Z is putting off dating until later but common RW explanations I see on twitter seem to fall short to me.

I’m not sure! The phones and me too don’t help the situation, and I think there’s more academic pressure in (some) high schools. Kids also realize they’re not going to marry their high school sweetheart and don’t want to do the stereotypical long distance relationship in college where they break up over thanksgiving.
