Great article.

On the slopification point, I'm afraid that, even with immigration restriction, there might not be any hope of reversing this trend. Plenty of whites, especially on the conservative side, that eat up the slop too.

Different parts of America went in different directions.

Where the white electorate was split 50/50 more immigrants gave us Californication. The coasts and Chicago are now completely different societies because of immigration. Hispanics hooked into the local urban machine politics and made these places into corrupt one party leftist states.

In the Sunbelt, where whites would routinely break 60/40 or 70/30 Red, upwardly mobile "white hispanics" would settle in the sprawling growing suburbs and become at least partly assimilated. In an environment where high status whites still considered themselves conservative, white hispanics became more conservative.

The Upper Midwest, which has seen less immigration, has been more of a mixed bag.

Charles Murray identified two possible responses to Hispanic immigration:

1) Californication (one party far left rule based on welfarism and urban machine politics).

2) Latin Amerification of the GOP, which you pretty much got with Trump. The guy isn't going to be cutting Social Security anytime soon like Romney/Ryan at least pretended they were going to do.

I think the path forward for the GOP is to try and reduce the reach of the federal government and give the Sunbelt a chance to build a kind of parallel society. The recent huge win on school vouchers there makes a big difference.

Another odd quirk of our system is that foreign born count in the census for congressional and electoral votes. I think we can win the war of domestic migration by building better societies in the sunbelt, but if CA/NY can keep afloat by importing foreigners that will retard it.

Samuel Huntington hardly was from the "Right." He was an old school leftist, and served in one Democratic administration and advised others. Huntington is a reminder that until very recently many Democrats were immigration skeptics. Also, do not just yet count out his theory about Atzlan. Pockets of the Southwest are effectively under cartel control, which is de facto Mexican government control. New Mexico is considered the worst state in part due to the crime this often spawns. Even if the California state government decided to cooperate with ICE, to give another example, it would be irrelevant as you can see with the illegal alien resistance there.

The Coalition of the Fringes has indeed proved a silly fantasy and likely catastrophe for the Democratic Party. But the mass migration its adherents embraced means redistributive economics is the future in some form. Karl Rove sort of was right about the conservative nature of Hispanics, particularly, even if he outright lied about them wanting and supporting immigration. Still, they are far more prone to want a mixed economy.

Following up on that last point, the dispersal of low skilled immigrants you noted likely is fleeting. Over time, and as long as cities are capable of providing more transfer payments and benefits, these newcomers will leave rural areas and gravitate to urban centers. This is when Brazilification takes full effect, and it is almost a certitude. White people have been voting with their feet a long time and this will accelerate as that unfolds.

Poignant. Its turning the country into "Yooessay" in the aesthetic vain of Britain's "Yookay"

Is it just me, or is Atzlan secessionism more appealing than just a slow spiral into an atomized slop hole? I can't be the only one who thinks this.

You almost have to wonder if it would’ve been, or would be better, for non-Whites to be more organized and aggressively anti-White.

Even though you have South Africa, and every incorrect Accelerationist prediction, cast a lot of doubt on that. However, White’s certainly aren’t going to ‘wake up’ from a peaceful, slow boil, mongrelization.

You would hope. Maybe it would’ve in past decades. If say average White people saw these views, and believed, rightly or wrongly, that most non-Whites felt this way and were posing an imminent threat to them.

And yeah, I bet some conservatives and even moderates would read stuff like that and have their minds opened a bit. Many such cases.

But today, I believe we’ve reached such a point of self hatred and intermixing, that it would have to be really extreme and in their face to change sentiments.

It would have to be like in South Africa where a political party chants "Kill the Boer" which is like saying "Kill the White people" and it was a major party running for office.

I just hope that if this changes, it’s not before Whites become too small of a minority to resist. Honestly, I’d rather live in a third world mutt hole than a prison camp.

Or better yet, some unforeseen path where Whites form some kind of identity without anything terrible happening. You can hope. Like people say, nobody could’ve predicted Trump, or covid, or so many other things.

The most depressing part was the lack of White identity. Would seem after all the media storm of attacks combined with anti White policies of the Biden administration you would see at least some changes. Not sure what would do it at this point. At least we know White men find White women the most attractive and Vice versa. White babies the cutest. That seems to be as far as it goes though.

When the ICE rioters in LA were waving their Mexican flags and pontificating about California being "stolen land" that was a perfect opportunity for Donald Trump to agree and sign an immediate treaty with Mexico returning the state to Mexican jurisdiction. Everyone wins! California leaves the union and the Republicans immediately gain a +2 advantage in the Senate and like +25 in the house of representatives, and the Democrats lose their guaranteed 52 electoral votes every four years. Plus the voters of California could enjoy the Mexican-level of governance and social services that they truly deserve...
