It really is incredible how stupid conservatism has become. As yet another example, Fox agreed to a c. $800mm settlement yesterday over the Dominion affair. But I have to read liberal news (NYT et al) in order to figure out what happened and why, because conservatives are too stupid to understand the law.
Our current system allows conservativism to still have some power because of "1 person 1 vote" and what remains of the constitutional system, but conservatives being almost entirely a mixture of crooks and mouth breathers just encourages liberals to continue to erode that system.
Apologies for my kvetching but I found this episode (HR specifically as well as DM saga broadly) a bit depressing. Conservative white Americans act like people who got colonialized in prior centuries and they are going to get the same outcome here.
