Keep in mind that were Sam Francis alive today he might feel differently than when he wrote that essay which was written at a time when America was more white and less divided politically and racially. Jared Taylor has long been an optimist about achieving pro-white goals via electoral politics so it's very significant that he has changed his opinion and I believe Francis would have as well.
You must also take polls with a grain of salt. The poll whereby 90% Trump supporters said setting aside a portion of America for a particular race is racist are the same people who try to live mini ethostates in the form of the whitest neighborhoods, towns and cities they can find. That's why white Californians of all political stripes are flooding into over 80% white states like Idaho and Montana and whites in big cities are moving to whiter states. And now non-whites are starting to follow like they always do.
It was once said that if a portion of America were set aside for only whites it would be the greatest land rush in history. There would probably be a 10-15 yr waiting list just to get in and no doubt a lot of people in the poll claiming it was racist would be on that list
The irony is that the whitest places are often the most shitlib places (Vermont [or New England in general], Oregon, even Minnesota is still like 85-90% white). Of course a lot of these are "fellow whites" especially in New England.
The biggest threat to the continued existence of the Historic American Nation is the massive presence of racial others in this country, and immigrants aren't half of them. I'm all for Trump, working through normie politics, and doing anything to curb and reverse immigration. All of this will certainly help, especially now that mass deportations are more popular than ever and maybe even imminent. But, there are still millions and millions of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation immigrants who are here to stay. Without some kind of separation these races will mingle and mix until the boundaries between them are blurred and American Whites lose their European character.
Social separation was tried for hundreds of years and worked successfully over the course of American history until recently --in living memory. The weakness of social segregation and other institutional barriers to racial mixing is that eventually the barriers become unmaintainable and disappear.
That said, I don't think open White National-divorce is the answer to America's current predicament. You're right. It's too radical. It rocks the boat. No one wants to risk their daily lives for something like that, but something must be done nevertheless. For the Historic American Nation to preserve itself well into the future, it must begin making a space for itself. It does not need to be a region or a state. It can start with small communities of well-to-dos standing up for their identity and future. A lot of these places already exist. All that need to happen is for them to have a stronger identity and political support. Allow people to feel comfortable living around and socializing with others who are like themselves. Let them use local laws to keep them from being intruded upon and to exercise the control necessary to maintain their character and identity. Overtime, a larger identity can be borne out of this environment.
Eventually, I fear that White America will face a choice between two paths. To stay at the top of American social ladder and assimilate all the peoples who now live in the country, or maintain their identity and character and lose control over parts of this country. For me, the second choice is the lesser evil.
We need more people being positive, thanks Scott.
Positives:
-Hispanics moving to white
-Overton window moved for republicans
-media now decentralized
-crime now easily reported and spread
-republicans now against mass immigration and for deportations
-libertarian dogma broken
-radicals now exposed to public
-Hollywood collapsing
