Even societies with 95% literacy and college degrees have stupid notions - WAT MEANS is that people who believe Candace and Tucker aren't really experts in politics; they just like entertainment, albeit they are a smidge more intelligent people than DraftKings enjoyers.
As always the attention should be paid on what the mainstream "intelligentsia" and the rich are saying. That is what drives politics, not the whims of the lumpenproles.
Also, Charlie Kirk's religiosity was a legitimate turn-off for millions of people. We already saw that in 1990s conservatism and see what that did to the GOP. Enough of that BS.
Millions of people casually believe dumb things but also we should care millions of people were turned off by Kirk's religiosity. Got it. Also if his religiosity was such a turn-off, we can only hope to have 100 more like him, given we're only talking about the most effective right wing get-out-the-vote guy on the planet.

Ralph Reed did the same thing in the 1990s. Got GWB elected. Happy about that? Kirk was just the latest in a long line of Christian conservative hucksters. Had he not been assassinated, he would've continued down the path of being some kind of Republican Party Imam, eventually endorsing President James Lankford "after much prayer and reflection".
You're just wrong. You can only say this from a superficial knowledge of what Kirk said, did and believed. He was instrumental to getting Trump elected, he helped Trump push the party to the right on immigration restrictionism, pushed the Overton window to the right and promoted awareness of many taboo topics from Steve Sailer's work to the stabbing of Iryna Zarutska. He also supported Trump's broad coalition by bringing individuals from many walks of life together. The only thing you're right about is I think Kirk would have supported any Republican nominee, and I agree with him on that. The Republican Party is the only vehicle for implementing nationalist political goals in America, and I am pro-Christian and a likely convert to Christianity in the near future. George W. Bush would have been better with nationalists like Charlie Kirk in his inner circle. The W. era was uniquely bad and there was a massive public backlash against the vapid Christianity of GWB at the time, and again I can only think a guy like Charlie would've been an improvement to the climate surrounding that administration, despite all its faults.
I agree that Kirk was dancing with /our side/ as it were, but guys like that are very good at knowing where the line is between donor acceptance and fringe disavowal. Yes the Overton window had shifted, but Kirk sensed the shift - about 5 years after the fact. He reacted to it rather than moved it. Still, glad he started saying dissident right talking points rather than choosing Mike Pence's side. But a popular guy like Kirk is always captured, especially with the amount of donor bucks he was getting, so I am always wary of those people, especially when they claim moral or religious superiority.
I also don't see a big difference between the "vapid" Christianity of the GWB era and what you see at TPUSA now. I suppose neo-Christianity is a little more associated with Western civilization than the "God wants us all to be free and prosperous" Christianity of the GWB era. And of course there's a pinch of the JQ mixed in, which is new. But it's still just the revivalist pyrotechnics as before - no Christian is going to forcibly remove the heathen.

Blaming the "right" is absurd. Trump had the option to justify a sweeping crackdown and chose not to. We were mocked with the frivolously stupid campaign rally/remembrance ceremony pyrotechnics show crowned with the "grieving widow" forgiving the killer shortly before she boasted about how much money she made.
The conspiracy theories are largely just a mental cope for our side's inaction— the only rational answer for Trump & co not J6ing the left is that they were in on it and, to be frank, that is far more palatable than the terrifying reality that the "right" is totally impotent in the face of left wing violence. They can murder our pundits in broad daylight and our FBI will run around with its head cut off until the killer's dad turned his son in.
