The American identity is a white identity. It's comprised of the original Western-European stock ("the nucleus") as well as those whites who assimilated to it. In contrast to the American identity, there are various unassimilable or unassimilated minorities in America. In real life, the American identity is shown by the question "Where are you from" either being asked or not being asked of the person in question. Physical appearance plays a primary role. Someone who is asked "Where are you from" or "What are you" based on physical appearance is outside the American identity (usually non-white or too far on the ethnic spectrum of white), reflecting firm boundaries of this identity. It's a very specific concept and described in Wilmot Robertson's "The Dispossessed Majority."

What a surprise that the people who've revealed themselves to hold whites in equal contempt as do many leftists also don't value freedom, the declaration, or the constitution. They'd be fine with America being a rainbow third world sheeyat hole as long as they can shove their moral agenda down everyone's throat. As Scott pointed out in his recent abortion article, they aren't as popular as they think they are. Phuck them. I think it's important to remember (not to wishcast) that there might be a certain Bradley effect in play here. Just because modern day cowards are skittish in their poll responses doesn't mean they're actually propositionalists. The fatigue is very real and most agree anti-white racism is a thing. So, reverting to the pre modern norm where America is viewed as a whites only nation is not unthinkable, just as many never thought all the pro white views which have become commonplace would ever hit the mainstream.

If the ethno cultural composition of the country didn't matter as long as people believed in certain ideals then why is it the English that came up with the magna Carta, the English bill of rights, and the american constitution? Why was it not germanics, or slavs, or han chinese? I don't think it was coincidence

Our Founding documents were a product of a particular culture and people. Its spirit still matters to Americans today, but only as a flattering story of our rise to empire. That culture and that people don’t exist. Trying to build on both is futile - beautiful but futile.

Equality for a contemporary American means that everybody has the same rights as he does; for his ancestors it meant that no high-falutin lord or pope was better than him.

The American people have changed. We are less religious, more non-white, more comfortable, wealthier, and worse educated. We whites, failed heirs of the Founders, have become uniquely racially diffident.

We whites who reject the new model America need to establish a culture and an identity of our own which reflects our new reality as a besieged minority in a non-white world, one that is by us, for us and only about us.
