One of the saddest events for the American Right was Desantis running for the 2024 nomination when Trump was being politically persecuted by every Democrat in the country. Trump and many in the base viewed that as extremely disloyal. Desantis's calling in life was to be the AG for Trump during his second term. Just imagine Desantis as AG right now instead of Bondi. The difference in policy competence and execution between Desantis and Bondi is immeasurable. In the end Trump went with Bondi because he needed a loyalist. This is 100% understandable because Trump went through literal hell during the time he was out of the presidency. I would do the same thing if I just completed the greatest political comeback in American history.
I pointed out on Reddit that newsom has a fixed ceiling because of the prominent anti California attitude that much of the country has and I was downvoted into oblivion. The most common response was "those dumb red states may hate California but they sure love all the services that California taxes pay for." So many home invasions of celebrities in nice areas. Non-stop campaign video for attack ads during a general election against Newsom. The biggest threats for 2028 are AOC and leftist economic populism if prices don't get closer to pre-Biden levels, and Shapiro since he is the governor of the largest and most important swing state and has actually done some moderate things like going after the leftist Soros DA of Philadelphia.

One other very significant benefit of addressing fertility decline via increasing the family size of those already married with children is that it would more eugenic, as marriage has basically died out among the lower classes over the last half century, and much of the recent dramatic fertility decline in the US is from those lower classes drastically decreasing the number of children they're having out of wedlock.
All that to say, there's a minor whitepill in that the past decade of fertility decline is somewhat addressing the highly dysgenic fertility distribution among the upper, middle, and lower classes that has existed since the early 20th Century.
