It used to be enough to embarrass a man by proving him dishonorable, or cowardly.

Now the only offense that matters is that he ate babies.

How far we've fallen.

I miss the days when a DUI was enough.

"While the files don’t implicate Trump in any real wrongdoing, public perception now falsely sees him as a close Epstein ally and even as a pedo. "

He was best friends with Epstein, and the he only ended the relationship after Epstein stole a girl from Largo. The accusation of Truml raping young girls is credible considering he tried to cover the Epstein files up.

Massie said that he can maybe accept Trump is not a pedophile himself but it seems more likely he is defending donors and friends. Is that really much better ?

ryan thompson's avatar

Massie has nothing, the pedo conspiracists have nothing. I tried to explain this to you earlier, you wouldn't listen. Massie has a good reason for not listening, because it enhances his own political fortunes. If you care about white people, this only serves to give fuel to politicians who will do nothing for them and just rant about pedophiles all day. That is Scott's point. You can either accept that these people are crazy and/or knowingly lied either because they're nuts or for cynical reasons, or you can point your gun in the wrong direction and accuse Scott (and, as you did before me) of excusing pedophilia. The ball is in yours and the voters court but, as with a religion because people are emotionally invested in this nonsense (and have perhaps convinced themselves that if they let it go they're abandoning the children or something) they would rather fight among themselves and see everything destroyed than admit that they were wrong. When even Maher is excusing this crap, that's how you know it's bad. Mexico, here I come.

I’ve said for years now the conflict is in the end between racists and pedophiles. I believe I’ve been vindicated. The Right still has the upper hand on this despite the administration’s bungling of the Epstein files.

It would be trivially easy to outflank the libtards on this. Simply bring a bill to the house floor making sex trafficking and abuse of children punishable by the federal death penalty. Guess which party will vote nay? Probably the one that thinks sexualizing children in any other context is a-ok.

It’s not our problem that morons like Bondi and Bongino decided to torch this administrations credibility by caping for Jefferey fucking Epstein, all because Trump still cares about whether MS NOW or Jimmy Kimmel will make jokes at his expense. Releasing the files should’ve been one of the first orders of business.

Nick is absolutely right to frame it as the “Israel First Epstein Administration”. The lesson should be, and I know this is controversial: listen to your supporters.

No, because the left is made of Teflon and the more you double down on this, the easier it is for the left to lie about the right because the right, to expose their lies, would have to admit they went along with something wildly untrue (massive pedo conspiaracy). You act as though pretending this is real (or maybe you actually think it is) somehow makes sense, and it doesn't. That was Scott's point.

Gaddius's avatar

The Left is not made of teflon. They have institutional backing, that’s not the same thing. One of their strengths though is that they stick to their guns no matter what.

The “massive pedo conspiracy” is more true than it is not. The details are unimportant. It’s obvious to anyone with common sense that shady stuff of every nature takes place throughout the halls of power. Financial, sexual, drugs… you name it.

The chud’s instincts are correct. Not pressing the Epstein stuff and using it as a cudgel against the regime, regardless of which party is in power right now, is a big mistake.

Like Scott said, it doesn't help white people. "More true" how? Those women lied through their teeth to become millionaires. They can't keep their stories straight, many judges found them less than credible, other women who were there said they were liars, they deliberately concealed that these girls were almost 18, lied about their age, had fake IDs. Many of the redactions were requested by the prosecution because it shows that they weren't credible. Supporting grifting bitches who drag men through the dirt to get money is based now? This is more demonization of males and their sexuality (white males, specifically). Most of the people who care about this think it's fine if there's no more white people. A lot of the women focused on this only do so because to them, it reinforces their narrative of toxic males. This is the same old thing where people adopt the framing of the left because it's 'based' or something and the left gets what they want and you get nothing. It's just naive white people thinking they'll get brownie points for moral phagging and then falling on their swords. Greer mentioned Michael Tracey. Tell me one thing he got wrong since you think this idiotic moral panic is mostly true. I have not heard one single refutation of anything he's said that goes beyond 'shutup, pedo'. The self appointed leader of the pedo warriors, Massie, is for a wide open border and has supported every amnesty proposal and was given one of the worst rankings from the Center for Immigration Studies (a big fat F) when it comes to the border. That tells you everything you need to know.

Gaddius's avatar

I told you the particulars don’t matter. IDGAF about the “victims” or Michael Tracey. The broader narrative is what matters.

I’m sorry but being anti-pedophilia isn’t adopting a leftist frame. They literally want to legalize it because they are irredeemable perverts.

Defeating the Left is good for white people since leftist anti-whites (libtards) create the conditions to put whites lives and their future in jeopardy. I mean this is basic stuff.

Attacking them at their core, where they’re weakest (their perversion) is a no-brainer.

ryan thompson's avatar

"IDGAF about the victims (not victims) or Michael Tracey". That part I completely agree with. Here's why it's adopting leftist framing. They accused anyone who disagreed with them of being a fascist and it turned people off. There are a few fashy types on the right, but most aren't. And most on the left aren't pro pedophile. If you double down on claims of vast pedophile networks with no evidence, people will vote for the other side. This is basic politics. This was Scott's point. It's the opposite of defeating the left. It's suicide and delivering the country up to the enemy to show how moral you are. Maybe you have a different idea, but that's how it will play out in reality. The right is certainly anti illegal immigrant (and anti-anti white) but they are not for white people and once they've served their purpose, that should be obvious. It's a total trap. You might think people will just go along with wild pedo claims that can't be backed up because some on the left have gone in for grooming kids and troons, but it's like WMD. If you can't back the wild claims up (they can't, that's been obvious to anyone who's actually studied the Epstein case over the last 20 years) people will (at best) get bored and move on to something else (like affordable housing, the price of eggs, you know shit only pedophiles care about).

You're absolutely right, except for our feckless and limp-wristed GOP delegation who will never allow it to happen...and even ONE of these quislings helping to shoot down a bill like this will allow the media to shift every ounce of blame to the GOP.

Case in point, the House Republicans should be sending bills to the Senate every week to balance the budget, codify tariffs and DOGE recommendations, end birthright citizenship, etc. The fact that they are sitting on their fat hinder parts and doing absolutely nothing of value should tell you all you need to know about how this would go.

This is just "get men" by feminists. The culture is anti-man, it isn't new.

ReactionaryFuturist's avatar

Well, the right's conspiracy theories were proven right. Just because Trump and others were part of it does not mean the right should abandon it's values.

..'s avatar

Add this to the list of topics that swing wildly from each party. It's amazing to watch in real-time support for things like war, immigration, Epstein, COVID, vaccines, etc. flip 180 seemingly overnight.

Otmar Milan's avatar

Again we ceded anti pedophilia to the left because we decided defending a dancing fat man was more important then defending children.

I don't care about trannies anymore I care about jewish supremacist pedophiles

Scott as you your self said the reason the left avoided fallout is because they were willing to throw their own under the bus, because leftist for all their retardation build movements around ideas and around groups then around specific people. They don't say wwg1wga and insist on defend bill Clinton until the end of time. this shows the value of self policing and why it is important and why again taking bullets for Trump is worthless.

Calvin_The_Hee's avatar

I don’t really see a clear path to how the right can wean itself off of conspiracy theory brain rot, at least not anytime soon. I have always said that populism was the ‘break glass in case of emergency’ option in American politics, and the situation of the country certainly called for that in 2016. But now that the Trump movement has finally evolved to a form where it can wield power in the way that was originally promised, a massive accomplishment, the chickens are coming home to roost so to speak.

If we can't include defending the innocent and prosecuting evil in the nationalist mission we might as well hand over the future to the Chinese and Africans today. Trump could fix this in an afternoon by directing the doj to start prosecuting people instead of spinning yarns about the NASDAQ in front of Congress and embarrassing the nation. Shielding these people for whatever reason is what's harming us, and it could be a winning issue if Trump chose the correct and Christian strategy

Prosecuting people for what, precisely? So far as I can tell, the vaunted “Epstein files” show some embarrassing and off color remarks, but no criminal wrongdoing. I mean, it’s embarrassing that Peter Attila said pussy was low carb, but that’s not actually a criminal offense. Now, the Brits might have some insider-trading-ish stuff, but there’s really not much there.

There are reports from the FBI tip line, but you do need actual evidence, not just tips from lunatics or grifters.

Wasn't the whole appeal of Trump that he was gonna 'drain the swamp'?

Even in this article's own comment section, podcast pod people are busy constructing Marvel movie narratives about the Epstein Files. It's frankly best for Trump to just wait this out, cleanly and concisely refute the biggest or most pervasive/prominent bits of nonsense, and watch as the worst actors in the Epstein Files circus eat each other or commit political suicide.

We need to be equally cynical and ruthless, since this isn't going away anytime soon. Its time to leverage these sorts of "Epstein Class" accusations against RINOs, establishment republicans, and anyone else who desperately needs to be primaried.
