Republicans were unlikely to win the Minnesota Senate race. Amy Klobuchar is a competent politician and a good fit for the state. Even a perfect Republican would have had difficulty winning.

That being said, Republicans should be focused on nominating stronger candidates. The mitt Romney clone, John Curtis, is currently leading in the Utah Senate race against Trump endorsed Trent Staggs. We want to be focusing our efforts to get good Republicans in red states and any Republican in blue states.

You can thank Steve Bannon for promoting Royce White. Without Bannon fanning White's balls almost every week he'd be a non-entity.

Bannon is one of these guys who thinks with enough race pandering a critical mass of blacks will convert to the GOP and deprive the Dems of ever winning the oval office again. But like Scott said it comes at a cost and a high one at that. And in the end most, if not all, of these candidates will likely go down in flames and a Democrat will win those races. But then those elements will just ICP harder.
