I didn't follow Charlie's work all that closely and wasn't really a big fan of his, but this shooting has really shaken me. I heard his wife and kids were at the event and essentially had a front row seat for his assassination. The kids will no doubt see the video when they are older. Very terrible.

They are very young so they probably don't really understand what happened but I imagine seeing your dad in a bloody heap will leave an impression even if it's a subconscious one.

His wife, however, is now having to accept that her husband is gone and will have to explain to her kids where dad is. It's truly awful.

The media stokes lunatics to commit violence. Then they spin, memory hole, and lie about the damage. Charlie Kirk and Iryna Zarutska will be forever intertwined as martyrs: https://yuribezmenov.substack.com/p/iryna-zarutska-nyt-propaganda

This killing hits different. Tragic in so many ways, especially to a family man and overall moderate conservative like Kirk. It's disgusting how many people celebrate his death, but it isn't surprising either. Hopefully this will galvanize and unite the youth on the right and strengthen their ideals and continue to be outspoken.

I don't believe all these killings/terrorisms are anything more than a reaction to the media by crazy people who would, in other ages, have reacted to an insane Imam or a cult figure.

The problem is the Democratic ecosystem creates these lunatics. Hell, it's even made my otherwise-nice Boomer Lib mother start believing stories about Trump arresting brown people for being brown. In a more civilized age, I would (like a Libertarian) cringe at the thought of smacking down an opposition without "debate" or "due process", but I think this is a good time to end the Democratic Party and its minions.

After that, we can purge the Republicans.

RIP Charlie Kirk. May many more join the fight for truth that Charlie started.

The Trump admin should start taking real action against leftist insanity. I propose as a first step removing Reddit from the internet. This is a no-brainer without any real chance of escalation by the other side, as the online right was already forged in the fires of heavy censorship and has proven that it can last just fine in such an environment. Next, they should pick a few prominent universities (I suggest the big 3 of the UC system) and find students and staff gloating about this, then say they'll withdraw federal funds unless these people are expelled and fired. Thirdly, target a handful of leftist orgs and begin arresting leadership (it doesn't really matter who they pick, maybe Media Matters). Lastly, use existing anti-commie legislation to crack down on leftist gathering.

Hopefully they can find the killer and bring him (or her) in alive. We'll see.

What if it's a groyper? Then we will see the right blame it on senseless violence.

Groypers are kind of like juggalos. People love to paint them as violent sociopaths because it’s easy and they kinda look the part. However, they’re mostly just idiots who want to be part of something.
