It became pretty obvious that the wheels were coming off this bus as soon as they refused to expel the white female lawmaker from the house for "technically" not breaking the rules. For all the bluster of "STATE POWER" and "ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES" it suddenly became obvious that Republicans weren't realizing the power of the legislature and simply being upset about a lack of decorum and "BEING RUDE", even during the expulsion they went back to the tried and true "if the people of Tennessee want these people to be their representatives they can simply vote them back in" line, there was never truly any intention of punishing these lawmakers for their behaviour but desperately trying to prove that the REPUBLICANS are the REAL adults in the room and not those loud nasty democrats.
This is sort of the usual conservative hand wringing. The left ignores the tantrums from the right so the Tennessee GOP should ignore the astroturf protests that resulting from the rightful expulsion of the two radical black Democrat reps. They deserved to be expelled based on using bull horns to shout people down on the floor and refusal to stop when asked.
The left wing media will fawn all over black Democrats no matter what they do. So what. The Tennessee GOP should grow a spine and pass a resolution condemning tranny violence and categorizing tranny activists as domestic extremists.
The state GOP is going to do none of that. Instead, they're going to consider red flag laws to make the protesters go away. They helped the protesters with their inept attempt at looking tough. Now they look impotent with the Democrats returning to the legislature and the protesters getting some of what they wanted.
If I understand the situation correctly the Tennessee GOP is not enforcing the rules and are waiving the need to wait four weeks to return to the legislature or conduct a special election. This is cowardice typical of the GOP. They should make the black guys grovel and apologize if they wish to return early given their deplorable behavior.
Bill Lee is just another invertebrate Republican who thinks he can placate the radical left by moving their direction a little bit on gun control. The radical left doubles down on things they believe while the GOP capitulates if CNN and MSNBC wag their fingers at them.
Did the Democrats run for cover over the fact that a radical tranny was the shooter? Nope. They doubled down and now plan on introducing a trans bill of rights that no doubt some cucky Republicans will support.
Supporting the GOP and even Trump is pointless anymore. Even Trump cucked and banned bump stocks after the La Vegas shooting. Trump is also Mr. Juneteenth. If not for he and Kushner we wouldn't have that stupid holiday.
Scott, will you ever talk about school choice and whether or not Republicans are getting suckered into supporting something that they don’t fully understand the implications of? I support school choice to a large extent but when there are no restrictions to it, then I think that really defeats the purpose of it.

This "Nashville council" who voted to reinstate Justin Jones, does it consist of members completely separate from the TN. House of Representatives?
Yeah it's the city council
