Scott's correct, there were definitely comedic undertones in The Sopranos, but I feel that this gradually declined later into the show's run as things progressed. It came about gradually. A major inflection point was the hit on pussy. Subsequently it was there, but it was little moments or great bits as opposed to what you got in the first two seasons which were entire episodes that were essentially comedic (Tennessee Moltisanti, Boca, Jeanine Cusamano, Toodle-Fucking-Do, D-Girl). To be sure, it continued in year 3 (Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood is actually probably the funniest episode of the whole show, and of course Pine Barrens, and it's there in 'To Save Us All From Satan's Power). The Ginny mole on her ass routine was great from year 4, but the darkness is getting stronger, and it really culminates with 'Whoever Did This'. There really isn't a funny episode after that, just moments (Christopher's intervention probably the most notable). Things had slowed to a trickle when we arrive at 'Long Term Parking' and from the 2006 and 2007 episodes really only 'Luxury Lounge' leans into the humor. There's much that's good in the whole show, but whenever I'm revisiting 'The Sopranos', I tend to favor anything up to 'Funhouse' and not much beyond. The show just wasn't the same after they whacked big pussy (RIP Vincent Pastore). Having said all that, it isn't just that The Wire is less of a show, The Sopranos is probably the greatest show of all time and The Wire isn't worth anyone's time, IMHO.
I guess the shop class I didn’t only mean as a career, but also as saving money by fixing things around the house as a hobby, or your own car. Nobody can do everything but it saves a lot of money to fix some things yourself if you own your house rather than hiring someone. As a career I agree it can have major drawbacks.
In an alternate timeline, Scott would have gone to law school and we'd eventually have Chief Justice Greer. THIS is what they took from us!
Scott’s cough is getting worrisome as it persists. Scott’s health is imperative so that he lives to answer more cognitive elite questions.
No doordashing, no sports betting, no tattoos, no marvel movies, and no listening to rap.
Even if it’s Eminem? I mean he is a White rapper afterall.
No Eminem whatsoever. He's a libtard.
You could probably infer this but I only meant Ancient Greek, not modern Greek. As for Latin, classical pronunciation only, never ecclesiastical.
