Election Day is finally upon us. Liberals warn that DEMOCRACY may end tonight, while Donald Trump promises the day will kickstart America’s liberation. Whatever happens, this day will stand as an important moment in American history. Here are my thoughts on what will happen this Election Day and what the results will mean for this country.
Election Predictions
If this were any year prior to 2022, I would guarantee Trump would win. But the midterms and potential overcorrection in the polls dampens my confidence. I still think Trump will win based on the polls, early voting figures, and the general vibes of this campaign. There’s even a good chance the polls are underestimating Trump’s support. But I can’t guarantee a win, I give him a 70 percent chance of victory. Unlike others, I think it will be a narrow victory for Trump. In my opinion, he will get more of the popular vote but fewer electoral votes than he did in 2016. It may come down to just one state and a few thousand votes. It would be great if he wins the popular vote and the Electoral College by a wide margin. But my gut tells me it will be a tight election.
I’m more certain that the GOP will win the Senate. Even if Trump loses, Republicans should retake the upper chamber. Polls show that Republicans aren’t at risk of losing any of their seats while they are expected to gain at least two additional spots, which would give them a majority. There are close races in a handful of other states. If Trump wins, it’s probable that the GOP comes in with a bigger Senate majority. If Republicans fail to win the Senate, then this Election Day was more catastrophic than the midterms.
Who will win the House is completely up in the air. Trump could win and Republicans lose the lower chamber. Democrats only need to win four more seats to have the majority. The courts handed Democrats two new seats in the South (Louisiana and Alabama both had to create a second black majority district in their respective states), so the task is easier for the Democrats. If Trump wins big tonight, Republicans will likely keep the House. But a narrow victory makes that less likely.
When Will We Know The Election Results
If it’s a Trump blowout, we should know who won Tuesday night. If it’s close, we probably won’t know until the end of the week. Many states now count ballots at a glacial pace. Arizona already announced it may take 10-13 days to count its results. We can expect other battleground states to take forever. While we may have a good idea of who won by Wednesday, an officially declared winner will still take days. It’s outrageous it takes America so long to count votes in our era of advanced technology. The competency crisis affects elections as much as it impacts other aspects of society.
What A Trump Win Would Mean
It’s hard to overstate how great a Trump victory would be. This is a man who had been deposed from the White House before he left office. He was impeached twice. He was indicted four times and convicted of a felony. He faced two serious assassination attempts. He suffered from complete social media censorship. Major media outlets routinely denounce him as the second coming of Hitler and warn his election could spell the end of democracy. Nearly every institution is implacably hostile towards him.
Winning under these circumstances would be incredible. It would be a bigger victory than even his 2016 win. It would show America is on his side when it comes to immigration, DEI, affirmative action, and political correctness. It would be a serious blow to the Left and inspire optimism in Middle America that we can make this country great again. It would firmly establish Trumpism as the reigning ideology of the Right and push the GOP in a more nationalist direction. Identitarian issues would gain in popularity with a Trump victory.
On top of all this, Trump would then have the power to make serious headway on curbing immigration (both legal and illegal), ending affirmative action, and eradicating DEI.
There would be a lot to look forward to if Trump wins.
What A Kamala Win Would Mean
It’s also hard to overstate how bad it would be if Kamala Harris is the next president. As commander in chief, Harris would accelerate the Great Replacement, further entrench DEI, and potentially crack down on free speech. There’s a good chance amnesty passes if Kamala wins, among other horrible ideas.
It would also be one of the worst indictments of America. Kamala is the worst candidate to ever have a shot at the presidency. She’s the most left-wing major party candidate in US history. She’s also the least likable candidate in US history. Kamala is a really strange person who can’t relate to ordinary people. She has no charm and no inspiring message. America picking Cacklin’ Kamala for president would be a huge blackpill.
However, this indictment of America may be less severe depending on how Kamala wins. If Trump sweeps the Sun Belt but only loses by one state thanks to the Blue Wall, then it’s not so bad for America. The real takeaway would be that the Democratic machines in the Rust Belt can still rig elections in their favor. A fairer election would have resulted in a Trump win if this is the final result. This is bad, but not as bad as Georgia, North Carolina, and Arizona going blue.
If Kamala does win by a large margin in the Electoral College, then we simply can’t blame this all on “rigging.” Kamala would’ve won thanks to superior organizing and fundraising, as well as due to the issue of abortion. Without abortion, there’s no way Kamala would even be competing in this race. A solid Kamala victory would signal that college-educated whites have shifted decisively to the Democrats, which would obviously be a grim sign for the GOP’s electoral future. Republicans will continue to struggle to win races if Democrats secure this demographic.
However, I believe the chances of a blowout Kamala victory are low.
A Kamala win, no matter how big or small, will cause the Right to meltdown and take the wrong lessons from such a result. People will need to keep their heads on straight and approach a loss without hyperbole and hysteria. It’s too early to make a full assessment of that scenario.
I think Trump will win. You should be in good spirits as we watch the results roll in today. There is no reason to blackpill beforehand. Things look much better for Trump this year than they did in 2016 and 2020. It will be a close election. If it’s not, it’s most likely a Trump blowout.
Edit on the last paragraph: "Things look much better for Trump this year than they did in 2016 and 2024."
Shouldn't it say "2016 and 2020"?
Scott, I have so many crystals ready for libtards. The problem is I had one reserved for Joe Rogan, and he just endorsed Trump, so I need to use this crystal on someone else.
Who should I use?
