Also lots of Scandanavians in WI/MN who still are shitlibs. Not that many in Ohio. And you are correct, a lot of Ohio is culturally southern once you get away from the big cities like Cleveland.
Almost all the VP canidates being mentioned are terrible. Burgham has ties to Bill Gates and is into the "green energy" scam, including stealing farmers land for Gates' "carbon capture" scam. He also supports "high skilled immigration" i.e. endless H1-B's and "pathway to citizenship" aka amnesty.
Stefanik is super-pro-Israel and terrible on immigration. Carson is a too old, too-low-energy, too-evangelical "based black guy" who only appeals to boomers (and the dems would be able to use their abortion playbook against him).
Of course Rubio and Scott need no comment, Trump might as well appoint Jeb Bush as his VP if he picks either of them. As you say, the 12-th Amendment will probably save us from Rubio (as well as Donalds).
Another problem with Vance as VP is that our RINO governor Dewine will likey appoint Matt Dolan to replace him in the senate who is absolutely terrible (pro-amnesty and pro-gun-control among other thing). Still, he really is the only decent VP pick among the ones mentioned.
Another thing about Ohio is that Unions are less partisan than they are in Wisconsin and Michigan. It’s also not a rtw state and republicans don’t go after unions the same way that they have in the other midwestern states

This was a much better defense of your position than anything you tweeted.
Live by the words of Merle Haggard in his great song "I'm a White Boy":
"I don’t want no handout livin’
And don’t want any part of anything they’re givin’"

Kari Lake out of the VP picture I take it?
The fact this is even a discussion is sad.
