I'm not sure what "outrages" Iran has committed against America. Sure, they work against Israel but that's Israel's problem to deal with. America has adopted a very aggressive and hostile stance towards Iran at least since 2006 when stories broke that the CIA was attempting to inflame ethnic tensions inside Iran to destabilize the regime.
So the lesson is that racial and ethnic diversity is not strength, at least outside of America, but is a strength in America, but I digress.
The embassy hostages, the Beirut bombing against Marines, and helping Shiite militias blow up American troops in Iraq. As I say, these aren't reasons to try to do regime change, but they are outrages.
The embassy hostage situation occurred 45-46yrs ago and we retaliated by helping Saddam Hussein in his war against Iran. The Beirut bombing also happened 40+ yrs ago and even the Reagan administration didn't have conclusive evidence of Iranian involvement (although it was likely) and declined to retaliate. American troops should never have been in Iraq. We would be blowing up Iranian troops if they invaded Mexico or Canada.
The onerous economic sanctions have served as retaliation for any Iranian misdeeds from the past.
Let's not forget the outrages Israel has committed against the USA. The Lavon Affair, The USS Liberty attack killing 34 and wounding 171 American serviceman. The Jonathan Pollard spy scandal. and who Israel first Trump pardoned. Israel also likely had foreknowledge of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and did not warn us.
What is the mechanism for the migrants? Somebody has to be willing to take them in. Not the US. Probably not Europe.
So who will take them? Accepting Arab immigrants means rape, migrants living on the dole and militant Islam. What country can afford to accept them?
My cynical brain sees Russia dumping them on Ukraine. Would the threat of migrants force the Ukrainians to view quick surrender as the better choice? Ugly thought
