Other thing is entitlement reform can do more than any subsidy to actually give people money in the periods of their life when they can actually reproduce. Otherwise everything is just going to go to old people.
Also we could just have guest workers that pay into the system for 20 years then leave when they need to retire.
Best of all worlds no voting block or political patronage, no drain on welfare, flexible workforce with lower protections than natives, and if they intermarry and get citizenship we know they are assimilated and won’t Balkanize the country.
Richard I read your stuff a lot and I don’t know why you dont just push guest workers they need less workers rights, can’t vote, and old age is the main welfare (not sick leave or healthcare for the young)
Also Scott making college 2 years and highschool 3 years (no summers) would expand the fertility window, provide more taxes, less influence of college.
Yeah it’s incredible the right hasn’t done this already...cut the cost in half and reduce the influence of a left wing institution...also most left wing propaganda is in gen ed... you can avoid it in most major classes
Also if you do lower divs online it could be even shorter
It’s not actually that difficult to bring birthrates above replacement rates, it is more a matter of having the political will than anything else. For example, Romania was able to have higher than replacement birthrates by banning abortion during the 20th century and the rate went below replacement once the abortion restrictions were lifted in 1990. I think we could do the same by banning abortion and banning/restricting access to contraception. You may say this is not politically popular but neither is entitlement reform.

The college part is especially doable, just get rid of all the gen eds and boom, in and out in two years
